Schilp & Co. Brokers purchase of lakefront land in Mahwah

John Schilp, managing member of the award winning Schilp & Co. Realtors of Chester, announced that the firm brokered the sale of a 14 lot subdivision in the sought after Campgaw section of Mahwah. Schilp represented the owners, Campgaw Construction, LLC, who has been a client of the firm for more than 30 years. What’s more, Sig Schorr, executive vice president of Schilp & Co. represented the buyer, Patrick O’Neill, president of the Morristown-based Fenix Investment and Development, an award winning luxury home builder, who has utilized Schilp’s services on numerous occasions to purchase property for some of its renowned projects throughout the state.

According to Schilp, the property is one of the last remaining residential subdivisions in this prestigious Bergen County town, where estate homes are most desirable and land is very limited. Schorr notes, “Since we have worked with Patrick before, we know the quality of his product and the types of communities he creates. We felt this property would be the perfect place for him to create yet another successful new home community.” The new property will be The Enclave at Meadow Lake and will feature exquisitely crafted luxury estates on from one to three acres of wooded property. Some properties will feature lake frontage. Schilp points out that the original Thomas Decker House, which is a landmark dating back to the early 1800’s, will remain on a lakefront lot on the property and add to the charm of this community.
