Sig Schorr joined Schilp & Co. Realtors in February 1996 after working with John Schilp at Alexander Summer Co. in the Land division. Sig has been involved in the listing and sale of both large and small parcels of land around New Jersey and into Pennsylvania for both residential and commercial projects. His expertise in locating viable properties for both the small and large builders and the investor has established a regular following of clients. In addition, his affinity to the natural beauty of the land has often led to the matching of customers to properties for retreats, farms or larger estates.
Sig has also concentrated in locating commercial sites for hotels, shopping centers and related uses and with the shortage of property he has often created assemblages. Also a major part of Sig’s responsibilities has been the representing of owners wishing to sell their approved or existing office and industrial buildings and approved residential projects.
Prior to joining Schilp & Co., Sig worked as a part of a team of Land Specialists for Alexander Summer Co. based in Paramus, NJ. Before that he was associated with Turpin Real Estate, an upscale residential firm in Morris and Somerset County. With a B.A. and M.A., from Montclair State University in Industrial Education and specializing in Architectural and Industrial Design, Sig’s background has been beneficial in analyzing real estate opportunities. |
